It started, as a lot of good ideas do, with two brothers fighting the wind on a family boating trip.
Wes — a certified welder and tinkerer by trade — got tired of watching the boat drift every time the wave pattern shifted. So he did what welders do: he designed a better anchor. One piece of cold-rolled steel, a detachable handle, a clean install that didn't fight the hull or the dock.
After years of personal use, Lance saw what Wes had really built — not a one-off fix, but a product. Together the brothers launched Iron Marine: a family-run shop turning out anchors for the people who'd rather be on the water than fighting with one.
